You tugged on the bottom of your father's tan overcoat. You were still pretty young, so you weren't tall enough to reach his shoulder to poke it.
"Daddy..~ It's really cold.."
Ivan thought for a moment while looking around at the surroundings, there was a lot of snow covering the ground, but he felt perfectly warm. Though you still weren't used to the freezing temperatures of Russia yet. He gave you one of his infamous child-like smiles. It didn't bother you though since you were of his bloodline. In fact- you actually really loved them on his face, frowns just didn't seem to fit his personality in your opinion.
Ivan slid off his worn, light-pink scarf and wrapped it around your small neck a few times because if he didn't, the scarf would drag on the ground and you wouldn't feel very warm. While you cuddled into the new accessory, he gently pulled you closer to his side while you both continued your walk around the neighborhood.
You glanced up to see your father's face, though you weren't able to see it very well from your very limited view of the world. It was very rare of him to remove his scarf. The only reason you'd ever see him take it off was because you needed it. Every time that you thought about this, you felt special. It made you smile, realising just how important you were to him.
You leaned your head against his side, it bouncing slightly as you walked. You clung to his long coat once again saying "I love you Daddy."
He looked down at you and smiled again, not stopping walking as he ruffled your hair a bit. "I love you too, my little sunflower."

But anyway, thank you! I may end up doing just that if I ever get inspiration for a story.
